HUTCHINSON, Kan. — An arrest has been made in connection with the early Wednesday morning burglary of Dough Co. Donuts at 1228 East 4th.
Hutchinson Police Captain Dayton Gates said a male subject forced entry into the shop, damaged property and stole items.
After photos of the suspect were posted on social media, a citizen contacted 911 Wednesday evening saying they saw a person matching the description at McDonald’s at 4th and Walnut, to which officers responded and took into custody Zackery Reaves, 35, of Hutchinson on requested charges of burglary, theft, and felony criminal damage.
Reaves, who made an initial court appearance Thursday, is being held on a 25 thousand dollar bond on local charges along with a parole home from North Carolina.
