HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Salvation Army has once again teamed up with INeedA Cleaners for their annual coat drive to assist local families. While community members donated a good amount of adult coats, the Salvation Army reports a shortage of youth and toddler sizes compared to previous years.

Residents with new or gently used coats, jackets, or sweatshirts are asked to deliver donations by 2:00 p.m. this Friday. Donations can be brought to the Hutchinson Salvation Army, located at 700 North Walnut Street, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Specifically, they are in need of additional  toddler sized coats for both boys and girls, and girls coats in sizes 6 through 16.

Distribution times scheduled for this weekend include:

– Senior Citizens: Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

– All Ages: Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

– All Ages: Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
