Hear Ye, Hear Ye! A Renaissance Halloween Is Coming to the Fort Scott Farmers’ Market!
We’re closing out the farmers market season with a little medieval merriment and a whole lot of Halloween fun!
Join us Saturday, October 31, from 8 AM to Noon at the Gathering Square Pavilion for our final market of the season as we bring a Renaissance twist to our Halloween celebration!
Here’s What’s Happening:
9:00 AM – Dog Costume Contest Dress up your four-legged friend and bring them out to show off their Halloween style!
10:00 AM – Special Performance by Students from St. Martin’s Academy
11:00 AM – Downtown Trick-or-Treat Parade Begins!
Fun Throughout the Morning:
Old-fashioned apple bobbing
Farm animal encounters
Pumpkin decorating
Caramel apples available for purchase
Festively decorated vendor booths competing in our booth decorating contest
Candy and treats from participating market vendors
And of course, our farmers market vendors will be bringing their locally grown, raised, baked, and handcrafted goods for you to shop and enjoy!
Whether you’re joining in the Halloween festivities, bringing the kids out for some fun, or just stopping by to shop your favorite vendors one last time this season, there’s something for everyone!
Help us celebrate Halloween and give another farmers market season a great send-off!
Costumes encouraged. Merriment expected!
