President Donald Trump will return to Kansas this weekend for a campaign rally in support of Senator Roger Marshall. The event will take place at Salina Regional Airport on Saturday, inside Hangar 509.
Organizers have opened RSVP seating for the rally. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. The event begins at 10:30, and President Trump is expected to take the stage at noon.
This visit highlights the tight race between Senator Marshall and Democrat challenger Adam Hamilton. Kansas voters have not sent a Democrat to the U.S. Senate since 1932. Both parties see this race as one to watch.
