This week the City of McPherson Park Department will begin shutting down restroom facilities in the parks.
The restrooms are closed near the end of October each year as the threat of nightly freezing temperatures looms.
Some climate-controlled facilities will remain open — Challenger Park and the Wall Park tennis court and baseball/softball complex.
All other facilities will be winterized and closed until spring.
