Shirley Ann Dellinger, 80, of Hutchinson, died unexpectedly October 22, 2026, at her home. She was born October 12, 1946, in Hutchinson, to Glen and Tracey (Klasen) Snyder.
Shirley worked for Collins Bus Corporation in South Hutchinson for over 30 years and held many jobs within the company before retiring. She was also a seamstress and, along with her husband Don, owned a bar for over 20 years. Shirley was an animal lover and had many pets over the years. But most important was her family – she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On December 18, 1965, Shirley married Donald E. Dellinger in Nowata, OK. They shared over 53 years of marriage before his passing on July 18, 2019.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Donald D. Dellinger (Kathy Ratley) and Michael Dellinger (Kristine) of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Michael Dellinger (Alexis) and Kynleigh, Oaklee of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Dakota Dellinger (Angel) and Marcus, Colt, Remmi, of Hutchinson; Blade Dellinger and Deacon, Athena of Fort Stewart, GA, Brittany Louie and Halie, Carson of Hutchinson; brothers, Chuck Snyder (Patty) of Coeur D’Alene, ID, Kenny Snyder of Bokoshe, OK; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; brother, Glenn Snyder; and many beloved pets.
Cremation has taken place.
The family is hosting a “Come and Go” reception to celebrate Shirley’s life from 12 p.m. to ??? on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 324 W. 11th Ave., Hutchinson.
Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
