Iola High School students will help local residents with outdoor yard work during Community Service Day on November 12, focusing on seniors, individuals with disabilities and neighbors in need.
Small, supervised student teams will rake leaves, pull weeds, clear brush and debris, and perform general outdoor cleanup. Students will work strictly outdoors and will not enter homes.
Residents can sign up for assistance by Friday, October 23, at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfB8Zj2TAyxc7-1j0FT13u1D2S41ZXXIGjGjGxSnhBiHOZcSw/viewform.
Space is limited, and submitting a request does not guarantee assistance. Requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, with projects selected according to need and student team availability.
