Tom Stucky 1948-2026
Lifelong Moundridge resident, Tom Stucky, passed into life eternal on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the age of 77 years.
He was the last child born to Clifford and Kathleen Stucky. His siblings were Shirley, Patsy, and Roger.
Tom served in the Army as Sergeant and was stationed several places in the States and a short stint in Vietnam.
He loved to hunt waterfowl and prairie chicken. Many fond memories were made out in nature, hunting with his friends and teaching his son, Wes, to enjoy the sport.
Tom held a variety of jobs over the years, but farming and working at the Moundridge Telephone Company were enjoyed the longest.
Retirement was spent watching TV, doing word-finds, helping his son farm, and playing pool at the Senior Center, a pastime he was proud to be good at.
He and his wife, Sue, shared life’s journey for more than 50 years. They were the proud parents of two children, Diana and Wes.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Diana Stucky and Wes Stucky, and his wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jenna Shull, and Lizzie and Ben Stucky; his sister, Shirley Stucky; and brother, Roger Stucky; three nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Patsy and her daughter, Kathy; sister-in-law, Ruthanne and her son, Spencer.
As Tom requested, there will be no viewing, visitation, or service, and burial will be private for the family.
In his memory, he would have loved for everyone to enjoy time spent in nature, enjoying God’s beauty. But if you desire, memorial contributions may be given to the Moundridge Senior Center (to be used for the pool players group), and sent to Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410 Moundridge, KS, 67107.
Rest In Peace, Dad.
