CHARLOTTE, NC – For the first time in three weeks, the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as Hutchinson Community College freshman Letsepo Prince Madume has earned Week 7 honors.
Madume is now a two-time NJCAA Division 1 Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, becoming the first KJCCC men’s cross country athlete to do so since Butler’s Emmanuel Otim in 2024. Four KJCCC men’s cross country runners have won multiple NJCAA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week honors since 2019, with Madume becoming the fourth HCC runner on the list of 32 total runners to earn accolades.
