IOLA, Kan. — The Iola Public Library will host a Community Meet and Greet from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 3, in its meeting room. The event is designed to help residents learn what local organizations do and how to connect with them.
Visitors can stop at each organization’s table to ask questions and collect contact information. The event uses a “speed chat” format, with a bell signaling when it is time to move to another table.
Participating groups include Thrive, CITF, Shop Thrifty, RCIL, Allen Community College, K-State Research and Extension, Humanity House, KansasWorks, PTO, ACARF/Second Chance and the Iola Public Library. Attendees should enter through the glass doors off the parking lot.
