IOLA, Kan. — The Iola Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is holding a “Sock-tober” drive throughout October to support USD 257 families.
The chamber is asking residents to donate new socks, whether they can contribute one pair or several. Donations will be accepted beginning Oct. 1 at the chamber office, 10 W. Jackson St. in Iola.
The office is open for drop-offs Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
