WOODSON COUNTY, Kan. — A 56-year-old LeRoy man died Saturday evening after his four-wheeler overturned in Woodson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that John C. Mattox was driving a 2016 Yamaha Raptor east in the north ditch along 200th Road near Tadpole Road shortly before 6:30 p.m. The four-wheeler entered the roadway and overturned in the middle of the road. No other vehicles were involved.
Mattox was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the Highway Patrol.
