Author Debbie Gassert will visit the McPherson Public Library on Sunday, October 4th, to discuss her true-crime book, Mighty Neighborly.
The book examines the 1983 disappearance and presumed murder of Kansas farmer Fredrick Iwert and the controversial conviction of a local chiropractor. Gassert spent nearly two years researching the case, using court records, interviews, and historical accounts.
The book was released in March. She’ll be at the library on October 4th from 2 to 4 pm.
