The Buhler High School varsity girls golf team posted a 326 score and placed second at the Buhler Invitational Friday at the par-71, 4,783-yard Hesston Golf Course.
Buhler individual medalists were Addi Specht, seventh place, 79; Anika Paulsrud; eighth place, 80; and Macy Miller, tied for 12th place, 82. Ellie Goering posted another career-best round with an 85. She tied for 19th place.
Paityn Weber tied for 30th place with a 90.
Augusta won the team title with a 306 score. McPherson and Hesston placed eighth and ninth with 369 scores. Cheney placed 11th, 380; Hays 12th, 381; and Andale, 19th, 461.
Amelia Moody was McPherson’s top golfer. She tied for 30th placed with a 90.
Newton’s Naomi Koontz captured first-place medalist honors with a 2-under-par 71. Concordia’s Mya Niehues and Augusta’s Kaylee Cox tied for second with 72s.
