Buhler volleyball dropped two league matches Tuesday night, falling to Circle in three sets before losing to rival McPherson in straight sets.
The Crusaders opened against a Circle team that entered the night with a 16-3 record. Buhler kept the match close, dropping the first set 25-23 before taking the second by the same score. The Thunderbirds pulled away in the deciding set to win 25-21.
Rorey Waldren, Tori Tustian and Peyton Deberry led Buhler’s offense, combining for 24 kills. Aubrey Leiker helped keep the Crusaders competitive defensively with 16 digs.
Buhler fell to McPherson in straight sets in its second match. Statistics for that match were unavailable at the time of publication.
