TOPEKA, Kan. – The Kansas State High School Activities Association released their classifications for the 2026-27 school year for all activities other than football on Thursday. There were very minimal changes across the Ad Astra Radio area.
All of the Reno and McPherson County schools stayed in their respective classes from the 2025-26 school year. The only notable changes across the entire Ad Astra Radio area were Hillsboro moving up to 3A from 2A in the central area and in the southeast area, Jayhawk-Linn moved from 3A down to 2A. Hillsboro’s enrollment of 169 makes them the fourth-smallest school in 3A and Jayhawk-Linn’s enrollment of 162 is the largest in 2A.
