Senior quarterback Brodie Crites threw for three touchdowns and ran for another, with two of those scores coming on big fourth-down plays, leading Central Plains to a 42-20 victory over the Kinsley Coyotes in a Central Prairie League contest in Claflin.
Kinsley trailed 42-6 in the fourth quarter before scoring on back-to-back possessions. Junior quarterback Joshua Stucky connected with junior receiver Joey Prieto for two long touchdown passes.
Central Plains improves to 3-0 on the season, while Kinsley falls to 1-2.
