MCPHERSON, Kan. – Sterling College women’s golf opened up their season at the Central Christian Invite at the Turkey Creek Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 14-15. Addelyn Patterson was the sole Lady Warrior participating in the invitational. She finished 17th shooting +98 through two rounds.
The Turkey Creek Golf Course features 5,800 yards with a par of 72 through 18 holes. The women played two rounds, one round each day.
Patterson started day one with her best performance, shooting +47 through the first round. On day two, she shot +51 in the second round for a total score of +98 to finish 17th in the field.
The Lady Warriors will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 28-29 at the Bethel Fall Invite held in Hesston, Kan. on the Hesston Golf Course. This will be the final invitational of the fall season for the women’s team.
