Lawrence, Kansas – McPherson College Volleyball continued their strong start to the 2026 season on Wednesday night, traveling to Lawrence to take on Haskell Indian Nations University. The Bulldogs would make quick work of the host team, sweeping Haskell in three sets.

How it Happened
McPherson came out firing in the opening set, jumping out to an early lead behind a pair of service aces from Anna Howard. The Bulldogs continued to pull away, taking the first set 25-7.
The Bulldogs carried that momentum into the second set, where McPherson recorded 15 kills and hit .300 as a team. Lily Gray led the way offensively, finishing the night with nine kills, while Havana Olander added six.
McPherson closed out the match in the third set, limiting Haskell to just 10 points. The Bulldogs finished the night with 33 kills, 10 service aces and seven blocks while holding Haskell to a -.054 hitting percentage.
Gray led the Bulldogs with nine kills, while Enya Fierens recorded five blocks. Howard finished with four aces and eight digs, and Roxana Varela Parra added three aces. Tabor Scanlon paced the Bulldogs with 18 assists, while Isabella Calle recorded 12 digs.
With the victory, McPherson improves to 12-2 on the season.
