The top-ranked Ellinwood High School girls varsity volleyball team defeated Sterling and Smoky Valley in straight sets on Monday during a triangular hosted by Sterling.
Ellinwood defeated Sterling 25-10, 25-17 and Smoky Valley 25-16, 25-11. Smoky Valley defeated Sterling 25-17, 25-22.
The Eagles improved their season record to 12-0 and extended their historic school-record winning streak to 59 consecutive matches.
Ellinwood plays at Russell Thursday night. The first match starts at 4:30 p.m.
