After leading 16-0 at halftime, Smoky Valley stopped an 11-play Ellinwood drive early in the third quarter. The Vikings then went on a seven-play drive to the Ellinwood 9-yard line, but Eagles linebacker Luke Heinz picked up a Viking fumble and returned it 86 yards for a touchdown to make it a one-score game, 16-8.
The Vikings answered on the very next play with a 63-yard touchdown run by Crew Elliott. The PAT was good by Mason Reidel, making it 24-8.
The final score came on a 9-yard touchdown pass from Luke Heinz to Cade Coleman. The PAT run failed.
Elliott also scored a touchdown for the Vikings in the first quarter and added a PAT run. Kaleb Burgardt caught a PAT pass in the second quarter after Reidel scored on a 12-yard run.
