The Kansas Wetlands Education Center will host its 13th annual Butterfly Festival Saturday, September 26, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Visitors can catch and tag monarch butterflies as they begin their fall migration to Mexico.
The event also features live butterflies and insects, a pollinator obstacle course, seed bombs, and a puppet show. The center is about 10 miles northeast of Great Bend.
