The Sterling High School varsity girls tennis team placed first at the Wellington Tournament on Tuesday and the junior varsity squad competed in the Sterling JV tournament.
The Sterling varsity girls captured three of the four divisions at the Wellington Tournament.
Placing first were Emma Kelso, No. 2 singles; Danika Bingle-Zimmerman and Emma Lewis, No. 1 doubles; and Mikaela Miller and Lauren Rowland, No. 2 doubles.
Kate McGlynn placed third at No. 1 singles.
In the JV tournament, Sterling’s Natalie Williams placed first any No. 1 singles, Macie Gillespie placed second at No. 2 singles and Marah Kuhn and Aurora Schneider placed second at No. 1 doubles.
