SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Mennonite Friendship Communities, a continuing-care community in South Hutchinson, KS today announced a special recognition from Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).
Representatives from KDADS made a planned appearance at Mennonite Friendship Communities today, in recognition of Mennonite Friendship Communities receiving a ZERO-Deficiency rating on their annual survey.
Mennonite Friendship Communities Assisted Living offers a community setting with services and amenities for seniors who need support with daily tasks. Attractive and spacious one- or two bedroom apartments and three levels of care are available. Residents receive three meals a day, a weekly linen change, housekeeping, and personal laundry services. Assistance with bathing, dressing, medication management, other personal needs, and nursing care are available.
“We are thrilled to accept this great honor – a zero-deficiency rating is a wonderful recognition for all staff members who helped this good survey to happen,” stated Dawn Veh, Executive Director.
In Kansas, the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services conducts state surveys of licensed assisted living facilities to assess compliance with state regulations. A deficiency-free survey means the facility received no deficiencies during the most recent inspection, indicating full compliance with all applicable standards.
