Bluejay Women take Down Midland to Earn First Win of 2026

FREMONT, Neb. – Bluejay Women’s Soccer earned their first victory of the 2026 campaign on Saturday morning, taking down Midland in a 1-0 decision on the road.

Tabor scored by way of a Warrior own-goal at the 76′ mark.

Ashley Jimenez and Annaliese Weins both recorded two shots on goal each to lead the team offensively, while Addyson Lomax recorded two saves in goal and Maria Saavedra Mejia recorded one.

The Bluejays, now 1-2-1 on the season, return to action on Friday, September 11th as they play host to Mount Marty at Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita. The match is set for a 5:00pm start.
