Buhler High School’s Sofia Spies placed first in No. 1 singles and Addy Tech finished second in No. 2 singles at the Salina Central Girls Tennis Duals Saturday.
Morgan Thompson placed third in No. 4 singles andTesslyn Strawn placed fifth in No. 3 singles.
Buhler’s No. 2 doubles team of Sydney Fluck and McKenna Sponsel placed fourth, the No. 1 doubles team of Megan Hatch and Audrey Koster placed fifth and the No. 3 doubles team of Lakyn Troutman and Abby Ehret placed fifth.
The Buhler High School varsity girls tennis team placed fifth in the six-team tournament.
In addition to Buhler, Salina Central and Salina South, other schools competing were Valley Center and Lenexa-St. James Academy.
St. James dominated the tournament with a 25-3 match record and placed first.
