KMW Holds Ground Breaking Ceremony for New Production Facility in Sterling; $105M Investment

STERLING, Kan. — KMW LTD, a precision manufacturer of agricultural front loaders, backhoes, and other attachments, held a ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremony today for its new North American headquarters and production facility in Sterling, Kansas. A $105 million investment to create 250+ jobs. 

The company is owned by Agrostroj Pelhrimov, a Czech Republic based global leader in agricultural machinery and freight transport manufacturing. 

A group from Russel Co., a company based out of Iowa will be doing the building. They will be starting this fall on the plant. The 150-site is located on the north side of Sterling.

KMW Ltd shared that they are excited to continue to grow in the City of Sterling, where the company was founded in 1965.
