The final races of the 2026 season took place Saturday night on the Kansas State Fairgrounds half-mile semi-banked oval dirt race track in Hutchinson.
Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., in the No. 04 car, won the 2026 Super Dirt Showdown Feature Race. Scott Crigler (12) and Sawyer Crigler (11) of Alton, Mo., placed second and third.
Pospisil also won the Super Dirt Showdown Dash 1 race. Eli Ross (66) placed second and Aaton Marrant (1X) finished third.
In the B Feature 1 race, Dustin Walker (14W) placed first. Hoisington’s Mike Petersilie (25P) finished second.
In Heat Race 1 between the Heartland Late Model Tour and Revival Super Dirt Series, Dusty Leonard (7D) placed first, followed Jadyn Friesen (1) and Dan Smith (92).
In Heat Race 2 between the Heartland Late Model Tour and Revival Super Dirt Series, Kip Hughes (60) placed first, followed by Brandon Morton (11M) and Chris Bragg (24B).

Friday night
Eli Ross of Muskogee, Okla., drove the No. 66 car to a first-place finish in the 2026 Super Dirt Showdown Late Model feature race Friday at the Kansas State Fairgrounds track in Hutchinson.
It was Saltcity Raceway’s penultimate race of the 2026 summer season with the final race scheduled for Saturday night.
Scott Crigler of Alton, Mo., in the No. 12 car, placed second. Tad Pospisil, Norfolk, Neb., in the No. 04 car, placed third.
Hutchinson drivers swept the top three places in the IMCA Stock Car Feature Race.
Jace Reimer, in the No. 775 car, captured first place in the IMCA Stock Car Feature Race. Chris Pitts, in the No. 01X car, placed second. Scott Miller, in the No. 1 car, placed third.
Mike Petersilie, Hoisington, driving the No. 25 P car, captured first place in the IMCA Modified Feature Race. Salina’s Cale Lagroon, No. 24, placed second. Little River’s Cooper Weis, No. 29C, placed third.
Hutchinson’s Dalton Chambers, driving the No. 17D car, won the IMCA Sport Mod Feature race. Newton’s Alex Wiens, No. 10, placed second. Belleville’s Trevin Frye, No. 11, placed third.
Placing in the top three in the Super Late Model B Main Feature Race were Dusty Leonard (7D), Marysville; Damian Patocka (222), Enid, Okla.; and Matt Menzie (41), Clever, Mo. Mike Petersilie placed fourth.
Cooper Weis, Mike Petersilie and William Nusser (7N) placed 1-2-3 in the IMCA Modified Heat 1 Race. Peyton Burkhart (13), Cale Lagroon (24) and Clay Sellard (85C) placed 1-2-3 in the IMCA Modified Heat 2 Race.
Scott Crigler, Jake Nightingale (3J) and Jerrett Branson (22*) placed 1-2-3 in Super Late Model Heat Race 1. Eli Ross (66), John Rowland (99) and Dan Smith (92S) placed 1-2-3 in Super Late Model Heat Race 2.
Sawyer Crigler (11), John Hansen (8H) and Jayden Friese (1) placed 1-2-3 in Super Late Model Heat Race 3. Tad Pospisil, Chris Bragg (24B) and Brandon Morton (11M) placed 1-2-3 in Super Late Model Heat Race 4.
Scott Miller (1) placed first in IMCA Stock Car Heat Race 1, followed by Chris Pitts (01X) and Brandon Massey (93K).
Tanner Thiel (3T) placed first in IMCA Stock Car Heat Race 2, followed by Jayce Reimer (775) and Blake Spear (11B).
