4 Named to KCAC Preseason All-Kessinger Division Team

LINDSBORG, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has announced the Preseason All-Kessinger Division Team. The Bethany College Swedes had four representatives from this year’s roster to earn recognition. 

Ryker Grossner, a junior from Salina, Kan., was named to the team as a wide receiver. Over the past two seasons, Grossner has tallied 54 catches for 465 yards and three touchdowns.  

Gus Griffith, a junior from Lindsborg, Kan., was recognized as an offensive lineman. Griffith, a transfer from Friends University, returned to the field last year as the starting left tackle for the Swedes.  

Kamorion Carter, a senior from Temple, Texas, earned preseason honors as a defensive end. Over the past three seasons, Carter racked up 58 total tackles including 18 tackles for loss and six sacks.  

Jamarie Jackson, a senior from Apoka, Fla., secured the recognition as a punt returner. In the 2024 season, Jackson returned 32 kicks for 670 yards, including one for 89 yards, resulting in a touchdown. He was also announced as an All-Kessinger Division First-Team selection as a kick returner in the post season of 2024. 

The Swedes kickoff the 2026 season with a home-opener against the No. 6 ranked Friends University Falcons. Opening kickoff is set for 6:00 PM at the Coach Ted Kessinger Family Stadium located in Lindsborg, Kan. 

Bethany College (KS) Swedes are located in Lindsborg, Kan. and is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC).
