Malachi Davis was sentenced Friday to six years in prison for voluntary manslaughter in the March shooting death of John Kent in Humboldt.
Judge Daniel Creitz issued the sentence at Allen County District Court.
Police say Davis shot Kent after an argument with his girlfriend. Davis was arrested near Moran.
