TOPEKA – The State of Kansas ends July 2026 with total tax collections at $718.9 million. That is $24.1 million, or 3.5%, above the estimate. Total tax collections were up 7.3% from July 2025.
Individual income tax collections were $369.7 million. That is $9.7 million, or 2.7% above the estimate. Individual income tax collections were up 6.4% from July 2025. Corporate income tax collections were $18.5 million. That is $5.2 million, or 21.7% below the estimate, but up 0.1% from July 2025.
Combined retail sales and compensating use tax receipts were $315.3 million, which is $15.4 million, or 5.1%, above the estimate, and up 8.1% from July 2025.
