A former Salina middle school teacher has entered a plea to felony drug paraphernalia possession and giving alcohol to a minor.
Amanda Freeman entered the plea before her scheduled jury trial this week. Police say an investigation began after a 16-year-old student’s parents reported suspicious texts between the student and Freeman.
The probe found Freeman gave alcohol and THC products to the student.
She’ll be sentenced October 6th and the felony charge could carry a prison term of more than 3-years.
