Jaren Garrison has developed into one of the top all-around players in Eight-Man football, making an impact in every phase of the game for Little River.

Garrison, 6-foot, 195 pounds, fullback/quarterback/linebacker, is a Sports in Kansas Football Player to Watch in 2026.

Garrison is expected to see time at fullback, quarterback, linebacker and tight end this fall. With another productive senior season, Garrison has the opportunity to add even more accolades to an already impressive career.

A First Team Sports in Kansas All-State selection and First Team Sports in Kansas Non-Senior All-State linebacker, Garrison also earned First Team All-League honors at both fullback and linebacker along with District 3 MVP recognition.

During the 2025 season, he rushed for 722 yards and 16 touchdowns, threw for 403 yards, added a receiving touchdown and anchored the defense with 74 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, an interception and four pass breakups as Little River finished 9-2.

Entering his senior season, Garrison is determined to help his team take the next step after falling just short in recent postseason runs.

“I couldn’t be more excited to have one more year to go out and give the game everything I got with my teammates one more time,” he said. “As a team, I don’t think we’ve ever been more motivated to push past what we’ve done the last few years and are unsatisfied about our previous outcomes in the postseason”

Logan Schubert, Elijah Stagner, Jhet Ewertt, Nash Look and Jake White are other standout players expected to play key roles this season for the Little River football team in 2026.
