The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified the driver killed Tuesday in a crash west of Newton.
Troopers say a dump truck heading south on U.S. 50 near Ridge Road did not stop at the sign and hit an eastbound Cadillac driven by 43-year-old Justin Farley of Pretty Prairie, who died at the scene.
The dump truck driver had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
