Kylie Geffert of Humboldt has been recognized by the National Corn Growers Associaton as one of four 2026 Corn Advocates of the year.

In a news release, NCGA said Geffert and the other three honorees have been relable advocates for America’s corn farmers through dependable engagement in grassroots advocacy.

In a social media post Geffert said she was incredibly honored and grateful for this recognition. Geffert said this past year has brought it’s share of Challenges, but through it all, continuing to show up for corn farmers remained her top priority.

She added advocacy is more than attending meetings – it’s listening, learning, and ensuring the voices of our farming communities are heard where decisions are made.

Geffert currently serves on the board of the Kansas Corn Growers Association, representing southeast Kansas, a position she was elected to last year.
