Ad Astra Radio is proud to announce graduated Hesston Swather Ethan Coutre as this week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Hutchinson Community College.
The week – Coutre was a Shrine Bowl selection as an offensive lineman. During the West team’s 14-7 loss, Coutre helped the West offense gain 59 more yards and average almost 4 yards per rush.
The season – Coutre, who recently graduated from high school, was a two-time All-Central Kansas League selection, on both offense and defense. He was also selected first-team all-state by several organizations, including the Kansas Football Coaches Association, the Wichita Eagle, KSHSAA Covered and Sports in Kansas. Defensively this past season, Coutre recorded 88 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 4.5 quarterback sacks.
