The Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches released their all-state teams for 2026. Many area athletes were recognized for the outstanding play this past season.
Great Bend’s Daxton Minton was one of the players that helped lead the Panthers to a 5A State Tournament berth and an upset win over Salina Central in the first round. He was named to the first team as an outfielder and also to the second team as a pitcher. Also, in 3A from Ellinwood, pitcher Caden Gunn was a second team selection.
