McPHERSON, Kan. – After bringing home a 3rd Place trophy from the 4A State Tournament and a 25-6 finish in 2026, the McPherson Bullpup baseball team had several players selected to the AVCTL Division III all-league team.
Four Bullpups were selected to the first team. Senior third baseman Cade Strathman was joined by juniors Carter Bengtson at shortstop and Cru Buchman at DH along with sophomore outfielder Graham Prescott.
Strathman and Buchman were also named second team pitchers for McPherson. Also on the second team was first baseman Brady Rinker and outfielder Nolan Pearcy, both juniors.
Senior Cowen Huggard was an honorable mention pick at both third base and utility. Also on the honorable mention list was junior second baseman Adrian Unruh and sophomore outfielder Takoda Linn.
