Andale Boys Golf Named Class 4A Sub-State Champions

CHENEY, Kan. — The Andale boys golf team is heading to state after winning its Class 4A Sub-State Tournament on Tuesday at Cherry Oaks Golf Course.

Andale won with a team score of 312, 13 strokes better than runner-up Buhler. Brooks Dyer completed the sweep for the Indians, taking the individual championship with a round of 73. Cavan Schueller took third with a 78. Jackson Bell finished sixth with an 80, while Brody Calvert shot an 81, good for seventh. Sam Kuepker finished ninth with an 82, with Oliver Spexarth rounding out the lineup, taking 16th with an 85.

Andale will travel to Hesston for the Class 4A State Championships that begin on Tuesday.
