Laudan Leads Tigers with Podium Finish at NCCAA Nationals

Wilmore, Kentucky – The NCCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships were held on the campus of Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. Three members of the Central Christian women’s track and field team competed, turning in strong performances on the national stage.

Cristina Laudan highlighted the Tigers’ efforts with a third-place finish in the high jump on day two of competition. Laudan cleared 1.57 meters to secure a podium finish and All-American honors against a competitive national field.

On day three, Chloe Clevenger represented the Tigers in the 3000-meter steeplechase and finished eighth overall with a time of 12:51.11. Clevenger battled through the demanding event to earn a top-10 finish in a stacked field.

Also competing on the final day was Camryn Frick in the triple jump. Frick posted a mark of 10.32 meters to finish sixth overall and turn in another great performance for the Tigers.

Laudan, Clevenger, and Frick capped off the outdoor season by competing among the nation’s best while continuing to build on a strong year for the Central Christian women’s track and field program.
