The Hutchinson High baseball team’s season ended Friday with a pair of losses in an AVCTL Division 1 doubleheader at Maize.
Maize won the first game 14-0 and the second game 12-2, earning the sweep.
Hutchinson finishes the season 4-22. The Salthawks will not qualify for postseason play, as the top 16 teams in the Class 5A West Region make it. Hutchinson can finish only as high as 17th.
Maize improved to 21-2 and solidified the top spot in 5A West.
