Hutchinson Trinity, Hesston and Hutchinson Central Christian placed first, second and third at the Hutchinson Trinity Catholic Invitational Thursday at the par-72 Carey Park Golf Course.
Hutchinson Trinity placed first with a 319 team score, followed by Hesston 349 and Central Christian 360.
St. John-Hudson placed fourth with a 377 score, followed by Hutchinson High School in fifth place with 387. Sedgwick placed sixth with a 407 score.
Nickerson, Hesston B, Hutchinson Trinity B and Inman did not field enough golfers for a team score.
The top 10 golfers received medals.
Hutchinson Trinity’s Miles Blaylock captured first-place individual medalist honors with a 5-over-par 77. He edged out Celtic teammate Tyler Casebolt and Central Christian’s Cael Kooiman, who placed second and third with 79s.
Rounding out the top 10 were Trinity’s Dean Nelson, fourth, 91; Trinity’s Ian Shaw, fifth, 82; Central Christian’s Tyler Reed, sixth, 85; Hutchinson High’s Kye Reneau, seventh, 85; and the Hesston trio of Eli Roth, Derek Gudeman and Ty Unruh, who place eighth, ninth and 10th with 86, 86, and 88.
Trinity’s Sam Madden placed 12th, 89; Matt Armour, 18th, 93; Augustine Bell, 23rd, 95; Seamus Hogan, 24th, 96; Ronan Hogan. 28th, 100.
Hesston’s Tytan Howard placed 11th, 89; followed by Glen Birdsell, 13th, 90; Brett Nelson, 19th, 93; Benjamin Litton and Jacob Smith, 20th and 21st, 95.
Central Christian’s Adam Eigsti placed 14th, 91; Bo Hobbes, 33rd, 105; Karson Sullivan, 35th, 108; and Bruce Wilson, 41st, 118.
Hutchinson High School’s Mason Deberry placed 26th, 98; Henry Ediger, 30th, 102; Jack Bleything, 31st, 102; and Bennett Gardner, 43rd, 128.
The top golfer for St. John-Hudson was Weston Peterson, 15th, 92; Easton Alpers, 17th, 93; Dylan Vieux, 20th, 95; Cody Newdigger, 25th, 97; Grady Long, 34th, 107; and Avery Fisher, 42nd, 118.
Reneley Eggleston led Sedgwick with a 16th-place finish, 92; followed by Brady Hansen, 29th, 101; Nate Hansen, 32nd, 103; Ethan Merz, 36th, 111; Hayden Gaede, 33rd, 111; and Greyson Howell, 40th, 117.
Nickerson’s Gage Hosklnson fired a 101 for 29th place. Teammate Lane Hoskinson placed 388th with 113. Inman’s Wyatt Jonas placed 39th with a 114 score.
