Little River Boys, Girls Teams Dominate Burrton CKTL Track Meet, Haven Squads Both Place 2nd

The Little River High School boys and girls dominated the Burrton CKTL meet Tuesday at the Burrton track.

The Redskin boys scored 211 points and the Little River girls scored 187.

Both Haven teams placed second, with the Wildcat boys scoring 99 points and the girls tallying 95.

In the boys competition, Sedgwick placed third with 75 points, followed by Elyria Christian 37, Burrton 32 and Peabody-Burns 3.

Elyria Christian’s girls team placed third with 54 points, followed by Sedgwick with 28 and Peabody-Burns with 18.

Haven boys first-place finishes: Taeden Espinoza, 110 hurdles (18.08); Cole Proffitt, 200 hurdles (45.6).

Haven girls first-place finishes: Abby Schroeder, 800 (2:29.68); Phoenix Richardson, 100 hurdles (19.5).
