The Hutchinson High softball team swept Salina South last week but couldn’t do the same against Salina Central on Tuesday at Fun Valley Sports Complex.
Central swept the doubleheader, winning 13-1 and 13-4.
Central improved to 16-2 and moved into second place in the Class 5A West Regional standings. Hutchinson fell to 8-14 and will return home on Friday for its final home games, as the Salthawks will take on Derby.
