Little River’s Havana Olander Captures Girls Triple Jump Title at K-State Relays

Little River’s Havana Olander captured first place in the high school girls triple jump Saturday at the Kansas State Relays in Manhattan with a mark of 37 feet, 0.75 inches.

Little River’s Christopher Norez finished sixth in the boys javelin with a throw of 177-9.25.

Colt Smith of the Reno County Sabres Homeschool track team placed fifth in the boys high jump (5-10.25), fifth in the javelin (182-1) and 10th in the long jump (18-11.75).

The Sabres’ Bo Smith placed eighth in the boys javelin (168-6).

Reno County’s Shaylee Smith placed sixth in the girls javelin (123 feet, 6.5 inches), ninth in the discus (84-6) and 10th in the shot put (29-7).

Andale High School’s Kinley Spexarth placed fifth in the girls triple jump (33-3.5). Abbey McNeal, Spexarth and Addy Orth placed 7-8-9 in the javelin (121-7.35, 119-11.75, 113-8.5).

Andale’s Brayden Spexarth placed third in the boys javelin (184-1.75), 10th in the discus (144-0.25) and 18th in the shot put (42-4.5).

Andale’s Hunter Grimes placed ninth in the javelin (163-11.5) and 11th in the shot put (47-0.75).

Hesston High School’s Ashley Lehman placed second in the girls pole vault (11-3.75) and fifth in the long jump (16-6).

The Swather girls placed third in the 4×400 relay and the 4×800 relay, fourth in the distance medley relay, sixth in the sprint medleyl relay and seventh in the 4×100 relay.

Hesston’s Josh Duerksen placed fourth in the boys shot put (54-2) and Lyndon Dillon placed seventh in the pole vault (11-1.75).

The Hesston boys placed second in the 4×110 shuttle relay, fifth in the 4×100 relay, seventh in the 4×400 relay, seventh in the 4×800 relay, eighth in the sprint medley relay and ninth in the distance medley relay.
