Kuhn’s Hat Trick Lifts Bullpup Girls Soccer to 8-0 Win over Mulvane

McPHERSON, Kan. – McPherson High School’s Varsity Girls Soccer team shut out league rival Mulvane, 8-0, on Tuesday, April 7, thanks to three goals by Brodie Kuhn.

Six different Bullpups found the back of the net on Tuesday. Lleyton Kuhn started it off for McPherson to help them lead 1-0. Becca Lulloff scored a goal of her own to make it 2-0 before Brodie Kuhn scored back-to-back goals. Addison Shaft and Grace Prescott scored to take a 6-0 lead into halftime.

Hanna Wilgers scored the 7th goal for the Bullpups before Brodie Kuhn scored her third goal of the match in the second half, giving McPherson the 8-0 win. Lulloff had three assists for McPherson. Shaft had two assists. Brodie Kuhn and Prescott each had one assist.

McPherson’s defense also showed out, allowing no shots on goal, making the day easier for goalkeeper Ellie Herrera. McPherson had 21 total shots.

McPherson improves to 4-2-0 on the season. They’ll have some time off before hosting Rose Hill on Tuesday, April 14. McPherson’s JV also won 5-0 on Tuesday.
