Hutchinson Central Christian golfers Cael Kooiman and Tyler Reed placed second and third in the Solomon Invitational Thursday on the GreatLife Salina course.
Kooiman and Reed both fired 7-over-par 78s. Kooiman defeated Reed in a playoff for second place.
Lost Springs-Centre’s Elliott Glessner captured first-place individual medalist honors with a 76.
Clay Center won the team title with a 349 score. Abilene placed second with a 358 score, followed by Salina South 399, Salina Central 403, Solomon 420, Ell-Saline 424, Southeast of Saline 426, Canton-Galva 438 and Marion 444.
