The Hutchinson Trinity Catholic baseball team is ranked sixth in Class 2-1A in the latest Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches poll released on Wednesday.
The latest Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches rankings were voted on by member coaches of the association.
The Celtics (2-0) swept a doubleheader from Nickerson on March 24. Trinity plays a doubleheader at Little River on Thursday and hosts Marion on Tuesday.
Other ranked teams of interest are Maize and Derby, fifth and ninth, Class 6A; Bishop Carroll, Andover and Great Bend, third, fifth and 10th in 5A; McPherson in 4A; Hesston in 3A; and Thomas More Prep-Marian and Ellinwood, first and seventh in 2-1A.
Other top ranked programs are Lawrence, 6A; St. Thomas Aquinas, 5A; Rock Creek, 4A; and Wichita Trinity, 2-1A.
No. 2-ranked tams are Mill Valley, 6A; Blue Valley Southwest, 5A; Mulvane, 4A; Jefferson West, 3A; and Valley Falls, 2-1A.
