In a Class 2A girls sub-state play Thursday, Inman defeated Marion 49-9, Moundridge defeated Solomon 84-10, Remington defeated Sedwick 43-13 and Hillsboro defeated Wichita Classical 60-20.
In second round girls games Tuesday, Moundridge hosts Inman and Remington hosts Hillsboro.
In a Class 2A girls sub-state basketball Group B game at Elbing, Berean Academy defeated Belle Plaine 37-22, Conway Springs defeated Republic County 45-13, Salina Sacred Heart defeated Herington 62-11 and Bennington defeated Wichita Central Christian 43-9.
Adrienne Mullins led the Berean Academy Warriors with 16 points.Fiona Morgan scored 8 and Ella Veer added 7. Taryn Bohannan led the Belle Plaine Dragons with 7 points. Addison Skaggs scored 6.
In second round games Tuesday, Conway Springs hosts Berean Academy and Sacred Heart hosts Bennington.
