The Little River High School girls and boys basketball teams stayed on top of Class 1A Division I, the Sterling boys remained at No. 1 in Class 2A and the Hutchinson Central Christian girls still are No. 1 in Class 1A Division II.
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association rankings came out on Tuesday.
The Andale girls are ranked with in Class 4A, the Halstead girls are second in Class 3A and Southeast of Saline is ranked 10th. Moundridge, Salina Sacred Heart and Hillsboro are ranked 2-5-7 in Class 2A girls and Pretty Prairie is ranked ninth in Class 1A Division I.
Other first-place girls teams are Wichita Heights, 6A; Andover, 5A; Wellington, 4A; and Eureka, 3A.
Other second-place girls teams are Oalthe South, 6A; St. Thomas Aquinas, 5A; Eudora, 4A; Ellinwood, 2A; Wabaunsee, 1A DI; and Bucklin, 1A DII.
Other ranked area boys teams are Pratt, McPherson and Andale, 3-7-8 in 4A; Hesston, second in 3A; Berean Academy, Moundridge, Salina Sacred Heart and Ell-Saline, 2-3-4-6 in 2A.
Other first-place boys teams are Shawnee Mission South, 6A; Kapaun Mount Carmel, 5A; Rock Creek, 4A; Wichita Collegiate, 3A; and Axtell, 1A DII.
Other second-place teams are Olathe North, 6A; Maize South, 5A; Atchison, 4A; Olpe, 1A DI; and Hanover, 1A DII.
